Sea Shepherd - Loyola Hearn Proves to be a Dunce on Strategy

Open letter to Loyola Hearn, Minister for the Destruction of the Environment:

Mr. Hearn,

You got my attention when you forced a dangerous Nuclear Reactor to open when the experts deemed it a risk to the environment and to the lives of Canadians. How dare you!

Now I watch as you order an extremely dangerous and illegal boarding seizure of the Farley Mowat for the crime of having “observed” the abominable brutality of the seal murderers. The crime is the brutality itself, not the observation. The observation only serves to bring shame to those that deserve it.

You claim the Farley Mowat was a hazard to the sealers when your own Coast Guard ships ran closer to the sealers than the Farley Mowat ever did? After your own Coast Guard’s bungling and incompetence recently killed 4 sealers? If I were a sealer, I’d rather meet Paul Watson in a back alley than any of your brutal Coast Guard or RCMP thugs.

You have the gall to call Watson a “Money grubbing manipulator”. You call him “gutless”, and accuse him of sending orders from the comfort of his posh hotel room while eating “steak and lobster”? What hypocrisy.

Watson is many things, but he’s not gutless. Unlike the brave politician sitting in his comfortable office, ordering others to risk their lives in dangerous open sea operations for the sake of his own political ambitions. Gutless indeed.

Care to wager a bet that you have eaten steak and lobster more recently than Paul Watson, the vegetarian?
Care to wager a another bet that your last steak and lobster feast was paid for by taxpayers?
